PROJECTS

NTDI Youth Development Programme

{ 1 }

NDTI assisted learning is a unique method of working with people who are grappling with addiction, social and communication problems, low self-esteem and aggression. Through this initiative, we aim to make equine assisted learning an affordable and accessible intervention tool for use in disadvantaged communities.

NTDI Hope Project

{ 2 }

 The Hope Project is for individuals, their families, friends and colleagues affected by addiction.

Addiction is a disease. An individual will not make alcohol or drugs their primary coping mechanism simply because of environmental factors, a dysfunctional family, trauma or a poor, weak or immoral character. They have a genetic predisposition that leaves them vulnerable to dependency.

There is a clear-cut causal relationship that exists between some forms of crime and drug use, and an alarming upsurge of violence and crime is contributing to the formidable array of obstacles facing Nigeria today.

NTDI Caregiver Project

{ 3 }

The Caregiver Programme focuses on Caregivers who work directly with Children, Youth and Substance Abusers within disadvantaged communities. The objectives of the 10 week Programme are to support the Caregiver and to prevent burnout, as well as to equip Caregivers with the skills to work with substance abusers and their affected families.
